I'm looking to get new grade 8 bolts that connect the I beam to the radius arm and coil spring. mine are seized, so I cut them out. lmc truck calls them lower spring bolt, but doesn't show the size. any help is appreciated.
I think the bolt hes talking about goes through the radius arms through the I beam with a nut to hold the assembly together then the spring, spring retainer, and nut screws down on this bolt to hold the coil spring assembly to the I beam.
Heavy sigh... where does Ford show that stuff... apparently not in Suspension... could be with axles, could be with springs, probably not with steering... *sigh*
I know how that is. Or you go to the proper section based off the number you are looking at for the part number and it says please go to section --- which then has 40 pages of charts.
I'm going to look and see I would assume it would be under suspension

Yes, this one. Lmctruck shows it in their catalog under 2wd suspension
So you cut it how do you get it out of the beam?
I could not even get the nuts off the 4 beams I have with my impac gun!
I am hopping the setup I have in the truck does not have to come apart for king pin replacement & spindle swap.

I'm not using the factory I beams. I have the dream beams
It took me Superwrench penetrant, an unregulated ½" air supply, heat, and patience but I got mine out, I wouldn't have cut them. Anyways... I found this in my service manual:
The first hit for ford bolt 388727 took me to this:
