Project tonner
As I haven't given my truck a name yet and my dad always calls it the toner I will go with that. A week before easter I purchased a 1979 F350 at auction. I quickly discovered that it had a bad engine and had to make several stops to get it home. But it made the trip in one piece thankfully. Since then the engine has been swapped out for a spare 400 that I had that is in perfect shape. It also has new tires and will be getting better rims this week. Rear brakes were replaced last weekend. This weekend the taillights were fixed. Next weekend the carb will be rebuilt. Seeing as I just graduated high school and money is tight this will be a slow project. Next year I will fix all the rust and the exhaust and the year after that a new flatbed, paint, and frame blasted and painted.
