Gas problem

Hey I got a 96 Ford F-250 my rear tank some times work and other times stops and then I have to switch to my front tank brand new tank need help

Hi 96fordf250a, welcome to FTE!

I'm moving this to the previous generation forum, you'll get some more help there. None of the trucks have used dual tanks since the '97 model year, so most of us are unfamiliar with your setup.

May have a bad wire? Or the tank selector switch is on its way out. Not to sure but that's where i would start. Someone else might have a better idea.
