Good morning everyone
Happy 4th of July! Have fun & be safe tonight! Please bring a DD along if you're going out drinking.
Wish my dad were still here to celebrate with me. I love & miss him so much.
Happy Birthday Dad
I think a few games of horseshoes, a smoked Tri tip dinner tonight along with a few shots of silver Patron with green Olives(instead of salt & lemon) & watching the fireworks from our back yard ought to be the perfect way to celebrate.

Happy 4th of July and big thank you
To all have served and made this all possible.
My plans for today is bake cup cakes for the folks next door for taking care of our dogs and teach my daughter to play three different instruments in less than 2 years.
Also going to take some of the cup cakes to the lady that invited us to a party in Tahoe tonight.

Morning everyone.
Replaced the windshield in the truck yesterday. Then grilled ribs, and calmed the dogs most of the night through the fireworks.
I hope you all had a great holiday.

No hangover here, but then that is to be expected since I don't drink. LOL. had a good time with the grand kids last night as they experienced sparklers for the very first time. The youngest girl however, burned her finger, and part of her hand with the very last sparkler. Not seriously, but it still hurt quite a bit (based on the amount of crying she did). After a few minutes of ice on it though, she felt much better.

Good Morning Nevada.
Jim,
I'm going to be in Hanford at the end of the month. My brother moved there & we are going down to visit. Plus my mother grew up in Hanford in the 20-40s. My Grandfather owned the local drug store back then. Not sure if we still have family there or not. Looking forward to the trip.

Morning guys
Happy Hump Day!
I guess I'm doing car sales + detailing today. Oh joy!....I'm definitely not getting paid enough for the amount of work & time do. Tomorrow I'll be working at my bosses place doing light house cleaning & yard clean up.
I guess I'm more than a salesman, now I'm his handyman too. UGH!
Oh well, I really shouldn't be complaining. Atleast I have a job!
Have a great day & try to stay cool & hydrated.

Happy belated Birthday every one.
Have a 94 F250 XLT 4X4 Long bed with a 7.3 IDI turbo, 5 speed stick. 232k miles.
Took a road trip from Vegas to Colorado Springs Colorado. Truck pleasantly surprised me.
Crossed the Utah port of entry with a front axle weight of 5260 Lbs and rear of 3220 Lbs.
Rear end has 4/10 gearing and I got 16 mpg average for trip there. (use to 10 or 12 in town)
Before coming home I took a trip up to Pikes Peak. Even being tuned for a 2,000 foot elevation truck climbed up to 14,115 foot with out any problems.
Problem started about 5 mile down with a new noise from the engine. Tapping sound around cylinder #3. Had her towed down off the mountain, to a friends house and found a ride home for her on a transport. She should be home tomorrow night.
Was looking forward to mpg #s for trip home. Oh well.
One of my suspensions is a collapsed lifter.
Any other suggestions.
Not running any rougher or smokey
Motor NEVER opened up.
Will be posting pics and a vid in a few days

Welcome to the Nevada board.
To new for most here. I gave up on Ford trucks past the 70s. Every 80s or 90s I have ever owned cost me way to much to keep. I kept a couple way to long & I paid through the nose.
You will most likely find answers on the 7.3 diesel board.
