Thought I'd offer here

It's a 5.4, not a 6.0, but everyone here has been so helpful, I thought I'd offer it here too.

I'm going to be junking a parts truck soon if anyone needs some miscellaneous parts. 04 F250 regular cab automatic. The engine starts but knocks bad. Tranny seems OK, but its got 330k. Lots of stuff missing, but still got some steering linkage, frame, cab, front/back windows, gas tank, one leaf spring, all four brakes, rear axle, alternator, power steering, A/C components.

It's in Houston, come and get what you want. Also has a clear title if you want the cab. Not looking for someone to just haul it off - I can take it to the scrapyard and get the few hundred dollars for it, but if you're an FTE member and have a real need for a part, let me know.

Does the truck have tow mirrors or those goofy looking "normal" mirrors? Sorry to anyone with those mirrors.

My 6.0 is in need of a driver side tow mirror. The current mirror has made contact with a .22lr round (don't ask how lol)

My local pick-a-part is outrageous with their prices, sometimes higher than the cost of a new part. They want $200 for a used, non-power driver side tow mirror. I would still have to pull the part off the wrecked truck at that price.

Money is a little tight for me at the moment, but I'd be more than happy to pay for the part.

Wow that price is silly. You can get a SET of the aftermarket 08+ mirrors for 160!

I don't really want to hyjack commies thread, but they are all over. Ebay, amazon, etc.

The manual ones are anywhere from 150-175.

Big thanks to commie too for the parts offer!

I sold the mirrors already. Most of the "popular" parts got sold.

If it is a 4x4, I am looking for a shock tower for the right front. Mine doesn't have the stud in the top for the shock to mount to.
