It looks like Summit has several 16.5" tires.

They have the interco vortrac which are often out of stock (didn't check this time) and are very poorly reviewed overall... I forgot about them because I had ruled them out myself. Maybe the most street oriented 16.5 tire left in the bigger sizes though so if they are in stock they might work.

Edit checked they are only available in 35" and are in stock so if that's your cup of tea buy em up before they are out of stock again.

4wheel parts has 16.5's Jeep & Truck Tires - 16.5 - 4 Wheel Parts

You have the (3rd pic)1st gen Good year Wrangler MT II Humvee BIAS ply tires, flat spot getting, BAD wet road manners, and not all that in mud.

You should be able to locate some (2nd pic) 2nd gen and radial 37x12.50x16.5 and even the (3rd pic) 3rd gen Baja TA 37X12.50x16.5. http://www.100dollarman.com/tires.html

Never heard of turning a 16.5 rim into a 16....I would like to see that done. lol

16's will/should clear the brake caliper as long as you get the correct backspacing. Getting 16" rims is really the best way to go to have a large tire selection.

Interco has a few tires with 16.5" rim. They offer a tire called "VorTrac" in 35X12.50R16.5LT, but it's going to cost a few pretty pennies, $372.99 per tire from 4wheelparts.com. Interco does sell blemished tires so they might have some in your size by the time you need them, also they usually cut you a deal on some new tires if they don't have 4 blems.
That's all I could find for a 16.5" tire that doesn't cost seven hundred per tire.

I can get the 2nd gen 37x12.50x16.5 for $70 to $80 (depending on tread depth) a piece all day long.

Brought home the 16's yesterday and put them on this morning. No clearance issues. Great rubber - a good deal for $260(CDN).

Good to know!!! I'm gonna try some radial Humvee tires first, because I really like the rims...but at least that's another option!!!

Those 12 or 24 bolt beadlock rims will NOT fit your front end because the rim is 7" back spaced and it will hit you tierod ends ect...

So to use them on the front end you will have to get them re-centered.

Trail Worthy Fabrication H1 Hummer Beadlock Frequantly Asked Questions

To use H1 rims on a Ford without recentering them.... If you want to use them in a stock form, then you need a 76" wms. Stock single wheel rears are in the 67" range. So basically if you have a 60 front you need the dual wheel hubs. If you’ve got a 44 then get the front drw spacers from a 88-up chevy or 94-up dodge. For the rear get a dual wheel rearend from a pickup. Can’t be from a cab and chassis truck. Those have a 72" wms. Then you can get a 2" spacer. Another option is if you can find a drw 14b or d70 hd from a chevy you can swap the drw hubs for the srw hubs and you’d be set. Have to figure out brakes but with a disc swap it’s not hard.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant, I really like the Mickey Thompsons that I bought the truck with!!! Just looking for better rubber!!!

I went up to 17's on mine for 2 reasons. 1) Tire selection 2) 16's wouldn't fit. Rubs the calipers. The 2nd reason might not be a factor in your case but make sure before you leave the tire store. Jus sayin'

Ah ok oops yes I like the rims on it too, and like I said those 36's are not the best bias ply road tire anyway. Here is what you need. https://springfield.craigslist.org/wto/5659727697.html To bad they are so far away.
