COE Value

I love my 1949 f6, but I am kicking around selling it. I really can't find squat online for sale that I can compare to mine. Is it worth it for me to pull my cab off and re-paint it? Will I be better off leaving it in patina? I had some guys at the carshow tell me these are tough to find now days. What would be a good value to start at? It is pretty much original with a dump bed with sides.

A running driving Coe with not much body damage is about 4500 to 6000 on east coast. Where supply is greater they may be less but they are harder to find.

Depends upon the price of the paint job.

From the picture that doesn't look like original paint patina rather primer? Also it looks like the RF fender has a dent on the lower panel and some rust showing at the seam which doesn't fit quite right. You should get more money with those items fixed. Also are the wheels widowmakers?

It is not a primer. Some kind of cheap single stage paint that baked in the Oklahoma sun. There is a shallow dent on the left fender that was repaired at one point as well as the roof has mud in it where something almost sliced it. Other than that it is all original. I am stripping it all down in the next two weeks and blasting it, etch priming and welding up old mirror holes in the doors, fender mounted turn signal holes and cutting out the 4 areas that have corrosion where brackets trap moisture on the hood sides and cab back. This thing will be a cake walk compared to some of my other projects.
