Need A Painter!!!
Looking for a painter to paint a 74 f150. Rust holes in both cab corners, one fender well, both lower quarter panels. need to be around Montana, possible northern Wyoming and Eastern North Dakota. i live in laurel Montana, next to Billings. Any help would be great. no one wants to paint it. all the body shops say its a losing situation, its easier to put on new body panles and paint insted of doing actual bodywork. Maco in billings want $5,497. please help!!!

Well, the shops you've talked to are right in the aspect it's better to put on new panels rather than just patch over the rust, but man that seems a bit steep on price. Too bad you're not closer, I'd make you one helluva deal on getting the ol girl all fixed up and painted. Most likely the reason the prices are so high is because of where you are, not as much competition to keep the price down.

ya thats a little far away. i guess i have to find a man with a garage and knowledge. i have thought about cutting out the rust and filling in fiberglas but idk what to do now
