So new to the forum, I have a 2011 ford f150 super-cab with the 5.0L and 3.73 gears, 4x4. On paper it says it tows 9,400lbs.
Im looking into upgrading my boat, my current boat weighs roughly 6000lbs fully loaded and all, tows it just fine, Im looking to get a 26ft boat center console with 2 outboards.
Now with gear and everything else probably be right around that number if that more, should I be alright towing this boat around Fl, I'd say I tow it once a month for 250 miles, 500 roundtrip. And once a year down to the keys for roughly 425 miles, 950 roundtrip. Plus gas I don't usually buy until I'm either at the marina or very close within a couple miles.
Thanks, Do not really want to upgrade to a SD.
