crew w/ trim?

There was a earlier post concerning trim levels & crewcabs. The gist was that all 67-72 crews came at a base or no trim level. The crew that willowbilly3 found on ebay appears to have some trim. Did the early crewcabs come with different trim levels and if so what was available?

I was also curious about that Rab, I had never seen one with trim, but had pondered buying all new trim and 2 extra pieces and cutting them to fit the rear doors. But I 'm not sure how good cutting them would look. Also I it's a debate weather I'd like to drill holes down each side of my crewcab Then I could do a 2 tone paintjob like the one that member NAA_Silent has the light blue and white like on the front of the 2003 DC catalog. Looks really good with this color scheme I think. hope someone out there has some inputon the trim.

Thanks 460 Crew I have thought about doing the same myself, but I've never been able to find the proper trim either. The cut line betwen the two colors isn't that hard to do, a little patience, and some standard masking tape, and the cut lines come out real clean.

There was a member here a while back with a black '68 Merc Crew Cab long bed with trim. He was missing the rear door trim on one side only and looking for help. I'll try to find it.

Cool thanks for the thread Barry, defiantely neat to see all the different crews. I just have to say the best part is not every guy you sit next to at the light is gonna have one,and lookin at yours like the new Powerstroke craze, not to say I wouldn't like one but I'm not gonna give my limbs for one like they want. About the trim mabey I'll break down and spend some cash on new trim when my restore is complete, but as I sit now the wife belives I'm over budget so........ mabey I'll sell her car for some more funds!! LOL
