check engine light/codes
The check engine light came on in my '92 F-150 4WD SuperCab(302/auto) and only stayed lit for about 2 minutes. I stopped the engine and restarted it and it has not come on again. The truck has 35,268 actual miles (yes, you read it right!). The only change that I made lately was to replace the oxygen sensor in the hopes of smoothing out the idle. It help a little bit, but I've driven the truck 25 miles since the sensor was replaced. Can anyone tell me how to bring up the trouble codes? If I can read the code(s),, I'll post them and maybe get a clue as to what was happening when the light went on. Thanks for your help.
