Yeah studs are in. It is about the only logical thing we can come up with so far.

Does the smoke smell like anything? Fuel or coolant?

I'll dig into it deeper this week. It is building pressure in the system. And burning water. I'll let you know something Aaron.

I would pressurize the cooling system and check for cavitation before you pull the heads.

I've noticed it has been using water for a little over a year, but since I don't drive it much I have just been letting it go. Driving home yesterday on the interstate it got hot. Let it cool off toped it off and then stopped at the store to get more distilled water. And it was then it started to blow white smoke out.

Yes. You can rent it at autozoo. TIP never put water in a hot engine.

What was your starting pressure? If that white is coolant you can distinctly smell it. Burn off after a pass down the road? Loosing volume in the system? Should be worse on cold start, a failing washer on an injector will cause the lower ring to toast and do the same until it breaks and hydro locks. Just some thoughts. Hydrocarbon test the coolant, if it is coolant it's will be distinct!
