Ok, when I bought my truck the PO had already put on a 6 inch Rough Country lift and 33 inch mud terrains. I decided pretty quickly I wanted to get more road friendly tires but I do have occasional need for more ground clearance that I'd have if I took the lift kit off and went back to stock size tires. I'm thinking 31 inch tires would be a pretty good compromise and also get my rpms back more towards normal.
So, based on the attached picture as it looks today, do you guys think 31's would look right, or would they look silly?
It wont be cheap but, i love BFG's. Had them on every truck i have owned.
I had 32's on my 2k F150 with no lift at all, they were quiet on the hwy, and decent offroad grip for an All Terrain tire.
I dont think 31's would make your truck look goofy, but most places will (atleast around my area they will put one on so you can see how it looks before the final decision)
Picture shows my 2k before i leveled it by cranking up the torsion bars.
