hey guys i was wondering if anyone ever put a matte black vinyl between the doors on their crew cabs like the dodges do. Like the one in the pic. i was just wondering because i have and opportunity to buy a crew cab or a supercab for my next build and i just can get over that triangle between the front and back doors on the crew cabs and i thought maybe the vinyl would make it more appealing to me
It's not just dodges. It's most every vehicle made in the last 20 years except super dutys that have a black filler between the Windows. It serves no purpose or style use other than to cover up the spot weld joints and make the vehicle cheaper to produce. On new ford trucks it's a plastic strip that can be pulled off or broken easily.
Hellen I'm with you on the b pillars on the crew cabs. But blacking them out might look ok from a distance but up close not so much. I dislike them so much this is what I'm doing on my crew cab.
