Best way to remove old frame paint??

Prepping my frame to brush on new paint and I have been getting all the Loose stuff off with a thick wire wheel but can't seem to get the old paint off also the in between the small areas? Any ideas? Want this to last

Any local stores sell electric needle scalers? Harbour freight has air only same with Sears

IMO air ones will work better and be lighter too

Don't have air compressor nor the money right now to invest in them

I would second the needle scaler. You could try an angle grinder with a wire wheel.

That's what I have been trying hard to get most areas and won't lift up the old paint

I wouldn't take time to paint with anything less than POR 15 or Chassis Saver. They're designed to neutralize rust without having to go to bare metal. If there's still paint I'd leave it alone and focus on problem areas. Makes me want a dip-tank about 10'x20'. Rust always happens in the places you can't reach... inside and between everything. But I'm just an angry New Yorker resolved to owning 'summer vehicles' and 'winter vehicles'. F@&! road salt.

Do it the old school way, let it soak in brake fluid.

I'm using Sem rust shield and rust mort but it says get loose rust and scale off and remove oil and paint

Lacquer thinner. Just make sure you're outside and you're not smoking.
