1966 F100 390FE
Well just changed the break in oil in the new 390 and I decided to get some new wheels. I had all aluminum slot style wheels with no center caps. They were definitely
lighter but I just like the look of Cragar S/S on an old school ride like this...A lot of people used to think of Cragars as a GM wheel but I like the look on my Ford.

UBW, Hi, I like those wheels a lot. Been thinking about getting them for a couple of years on my 66 F100. I did a disc brake swap up front, and so I need 1/2 inch spacers for my OE wheels to fit. Let me ask, do you need any spacers for your wheels to fit? Do you have discs on the front? Thanks,
Bill

Hey Bill, no discs, all drum and basically all stock suspension. I am still trying to figure out what has been done to the suspension but basically its all stock. Those are direct drill Cragar S/S, they probably make a set that would fit yours but direct drill is the type to get. I had some all aluminum slots on it and there is def a bigger weight difference but I wanted a classic look and its not like I am racing it around.

Thanks UBWoodman, if I do it, yes I was planning on getting the direct drill Cragar S/S 5x5.5, 15x8. Maybe 15x7 up front and 15x8 on rear. I just would really like it if I didn't have to use a spacer up front. But I did the disc upgrade about a year ago, and have been using spacers to make that work, and I really don't think about it much anymore, it used to bug me at first.

Thanks man, I had those on the truck when I got but with no center caps, I like them too but I always wanted a vehicle with Cragers, the slots are definitely a lighter wheel. Great looking truck, love the two tone.
