New member asking for help
Hey, I am happy to finally be a member and hope that I can get some help or advice on a problem I'm having with my truck.
I was on my way home and it lost power and started to stutter around 45 mph, I stopped at a redlight and it started to die, I kept it going and when the light turned green, it started making a God awful banging noise, my first thought was a rod knock. Got it home and listened to where the noise was coming from and was relieved, it was coming from the top of the engine. Anyway, to make a long story short, I took it apart thinking it was a blown out spark plug , of course plug wasn't blown out, and found a bolt in my intake plenum. Put it back together and now it has a rough idle, and under load it does like before with the stutter. I have changed IAC, EGR, EGR solenoid, DPFE, PCV, Coils, plugs, all intake and throttle body gaskets, and still no change.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help.
