Yes totally agree with you would love to lower them unfortunately not even my dealer will lower the trigger points this is why many years ago I contacted BF Goodrich to question this very issue about the pressure running 15 pounds above normal, no ill-effects other than tires wearing out sooner they are a flotation Tire 65 pounds they can handle the weight without a problem you just can't stand listen to the truck complaining every 5 minutes. New York state it is illegal if the air warning lights are on you can't get an inspection especially if you go through checkpoints and a trooper notices the lights are on they can give you a ticket. a lot of stupid laws up here a lot they make up themselves I'm sure been there done that with the trooper threatened me with a ticket ,this is why I put the leaf springs in the back of the truck and we had the last discussion that got the post locked ,because of the heated discussions about airbags how I don't like them and will never put one in a work truck. when I expect the one ton truck to handle work like my old one 4 leaf springs later two on each side no more sagging and no more Troopers looking at me LOL take care
