I run 8 inch rims on the front and tens on the rear. The tire you choose depends on the look or stance you are looking for. A lower stance you can run a 295-55r15 and a light truck tire for a taller stance. The height of the rim will play a role in tire selection and avalablity. 15 most popular and the biggest selection of tires.

jw has it, you will prob want to put them on the rears, if you like that look, or need some traction in the snow. but with those wide tires, you will need some weight in the bed. i have 10's all the way around, with the 33's, but it is a 4 wheeler, and lifted a bit. you can take a peek in my gallery pix.

backset

I used to run 31's on my '72, but now with the 33's, they JUST clear the front of the fender opening. Of course the backset on the rim has something to do with clearance too. the farther the tire sticks out of the fender, the more chance it has of rubbing. (When you turn hard left or right). they hardly ever rub on top of the fender, it is on the front of the opening, or on the rear of the inner fender liner.(inside of tire) You can make the clearance up and down change, but the distance from the hub to fender pretty much stays the same.

I like the way your truck stands baitmaster. My truck kinda looks like a camaro that somebody jacked up in the back and put monster tires on it with skinnies on the front(the previous owner). I just got around to getting some wheels all the same size, and was wanting to get some good non 4x4 tires that fit and looked good. I would rather have that than a slick paint job.
