Ruby Pulling Left--Braking Issue

Ok, so I know that I have a braking problem. I redid all of the front brakes last year before our jaunt to Texas. I put new everything and bled them thoroughly. It has always pulled a tiny bit, but now it's getting ridiculous. The calipers are lifetime, so no issue there. I can just replace. Is it possible my lines need to be replaced? I am just wondering where to start and if that is the best place to look. I'll go ahead and get a new caliper as well just because it's free to do so. Thanks! Happy Friday!!!

Check the radius arm bushings for any play, the will make the truck pull more to one side than the other.
Happy Friday.

What Adam said and shoot the disk with a infrared light after driving (trying not to break) to see if they are warmer on the side that pulls. I replaced the rubber brake lines on the mule and it helped. The inner guts of the rubber lines can start to fall apart holding the brake fluid from returning after braking. They aren't any fun replacing!

neighbor with a 69 Malibu had a brake drag and replaced everything but the hard lines

After bleeding we found so much rust in the hard lines that it was acting like a check valve

lift front end up
apply brake and release
then see if the tire can spin by hand

Following. I have this same problem except to the right.

OP is your problem consistent? Mine goes away for weeks then randomly it'll pull to the right like crazy then not do it again.

Yeah, definitely consistent with every time I apply the brakes.

Thanks Knotty... I'll give it a shot on Sunday when I work on it. I am thinking this is the main problem in that my lines are clogged up

Yeah Glenn, this was my main thought on what the issue might be because the calipers are only a-year-old

Happy Friday.
Thanks Adam. The entire front end was rebuilt a year and a half ago and the radius arm bushings were replaced with polyurethane ones. Happy Friday.

One of three.
1. Bad caliper
2. Bad line.
3. Bad proportioning valve.

Id start with 1&2

If it were mine I would check fe components then swap front tires before I got into brake parts.

Had the same issue and replaced all the lines hard and soft andrinks pit new calipers on. It brakes true now. I need to do the rear cylinders and all hardware next.

The front brakes were off the front of the master cylinder. I thought the proportioning valve was for the rear only.

The hard lines were not that difficult to make. Make sure you get a line flaring tool that will do a double flare and practice before cutting things to the exact length.

X2. I just completed the same task. I couldn't find some of the oddball inverted flare nuts that ford uses so I just cut the lines off about a half inch from the nut, used a socket to get them out then drilled the lines out of the old nut.

Honestly I did them strictly for preventative maintenance. All rubber and hard

Edit. Don't take that the wrong way lol

Eastwood makes a flaring tool. It's expensive but by far the nicest flaring tool I've ever used before.

The hardest part will be removing all the old lines.
