I thought* I Found another Easter Egg in the Build and Price

So, I found another bit of unreleased info in the build and price. If you build a 250 and click the info tab for the HD Tow Pkg., the unreleased ratings are there. And that's just the 250. The SRW 350 must be higher. The 250's tow rating is now higher than the current SRW 350...

On edit, Kenv spoiled my fun! LOL.

From the build and price:

The Trailer Tow Package - High Capacity is optional on all F-250 models. Package includes:
• Increase GCW on diesel engine from 23,500 lbs. to 25,700 lbs.
• Max Front Springs
• Upgraded axle
• 20” Chrome PVD Aluminum wheels – LARIAT and King Ranch® only
• 20” Polished Aluminum wheels – Platinum only

Package requires 6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel engine.

Rodney.....I don't think it's another egg.....everything you have listed in Blue was on the original order guide. I know because my sales guy accidently left off the 535 package and I had to go back in and look to make sure he added it. Unless you are referring to "MORE" info then what you listed in blue......

I'm referring to the 250's official tow rating. I didn't realize it was in the order guide. Sorry. I just never looked at a 250 before so I must have missed it.

So...25,700 is what we can expect with the 250....as long as you get the F250-535 Tow Package. Wow...not that i'll ever need that much, but it's a big number.

I saw this option yesterday. When I built a 250 with this package and compared it to a 350 the 350 was like $45 more. Do not see any reason to buy this package unless it makes it a lot cheaper to register in your state.

Yep...exactly why I am getting it...cheaper to register as opposed to going up to 350. I heard some states required commercial license for 1 ton?? (not Texas)......AND....I wanted the "upgraded axle" which gives you the wider bolt pattern 20 inch rim....64U as opposed to 645 due to the upgraded axle. Plus max front springs...just in case I want to add Push bar/brush guard.

The order guide also says the GCWR for the F450 is 33,000 lbs. Clearly this isn't the GCWR; I suspect this is the new tow rating.

That's the 250 combined weight so subtract what the truck weighs. No way a 250srw is pulling 25k

Right. It's not a tow rating. It's a GCWR.

Since my towing needs have put me right at my 150 max but not quit enough to jump on a diesel, I am curious about the gas numbers.
