Transfer Flow tank

Hoping that n3hcp will chime in... I am looking to put a transfer flow tank in my 15 F350 and see that you are running the trax 2 in your truck. I found a tank on craigslist that came out of a 2000 F250 for a good deal but I needed the Y so I called transfer flow and they are telling me that I need to upgrade to the trax 3 because the trax 2 won't work in my truck. Any help/guidance anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I've been eyeing TransferFlow over Titan for a 2011 F250. I would rather have all the aluminum. Not sure how this will do long term over the Titan?
