Bumps are very scarce on the coast of SC, so i try to park next to one if I see one. My 68 F-250 with 72(?) F-100 at Trader Joe's in Mt Pleasant:

They let me go on the other side of the fence

to take another pic. No one knows what year just old.

And yes, that was a lot of money even for a nice truck. But this one was stunning, and the right two buyers were on the hook.

Sister bumps. My F-250 next to an F-100. Both are '68, Custom Cabs in Pebble Beige, mine with Wimbledon White secondary color.

Nice. I hardly ever see them out in the wild anymore. At least not when I have my camera ready!

Saw this in Cooperstown, North Dakota. It looked in decent shape. Saw a number of old pickups for such a small population while driving through ND.

They tend to be rural and poor. They run’em till the wheels fall off, or the drivetrain fails. And if they have any thing close to a suitable parts truck they’ll swap n weld to make things work.

Terrible pics because the salvage yard was closed but it was a cool truck. I like the utility bed with a van body welded to it.

Actually a very good movie if you're a semi old-timer and like that kind of stuff. A surf movie without being a real surf movie.

Had forgotten he'd passed away recently. Don't think I saw Winds of War, but definitely saw a few episodes of Airwolf!
Always liked Ernest Borgnine. Was a very pleasant surprise when he popped up in the movie RED with Bruce Willis.
