Is it really worth only a %8-12 gain over stock for a $300 add-on. I'm on track to put over 25,000 miles on my 03 S'Crew, and if I add high test gas, thats a lot of extra pennies spent at the pump. I don't see where it would be worth the few extra horses.
I've had a Diablo in my SD 5.4L for over a year now, and I have nothing but praise for it. It's worth it just having a better shifting transmission. Since chips are for increased performance, increased gas mileage isn't listed as a benefit, however, if I can manage to keep my foot out of it, my truck's mileage is about 1-1.5 mpg better in town and 2 mpg better on the highway...and B'429, there's nothing more fun than pushing the throttle all the way to the floor and having your 3 ton+ beast accelerate nothing to 90 in a flash. Worth it for me...
