400 noise
Anyone ever have a 2 piece fuel pump eccentric make noise? My dads truck sounded like the timing chain was loose and slapping around so he decided to change it. It was very loose as suspected but turns out that was not the noise. The only thing I thought was weird was how loose the outer ring on the eccentric was. Listening to everything with a bar as a stethoscope the noise cannot be pinpointed except it sounds like it's in the timing chain area. It also got a new carter fuel pump and water pump etc. basically everything is new and still same noise.
