Total Solar Eclipse 2017 - Path Through the United States
I'm reminded of this verse in the song by Carly Simon:

Still, it would be cool to take a 600 mile drive up there to watch it. All 2 minutes of it.

I live near Seattle, so I'll definitely be making the trip down to Oregon to see it. Bonus is Summer quarter should have just ended, so I won't have to worry about missing class. I still need to figure out what kind of lens filters I need to shoot it, and the best lens to use.
