My '88 F250, 351W looses power when engine warms up. Runs great on cold motor, however. Have spent good bit of time and $$$ without success. Most sensors are new. Compression good etc. Have scoped 3X and each time no faults etc. Fuel pressure good. Any suggestions? Please!
Check the timing; make sure it is 10 degrees BTDC.
Make sure you remove the spout connector before setting the timing, and then connect it after you’re done.
Well don't get to excitied, I don't have the answer BUT Iv'e got the same symptoms on my 88 5.8 F-350. It started after I installed a new long block. Iv'e checked all the sensors also. Is your truck completely stock? Mine has a K&N airfilter , JBA headers 3" catback

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-Jan-02 AT 08:32 AM (EST)]Thanks for reply, Bob. I have done the following:
Cat. Ok
Fuel pressure OK
No intake leak
No vacum leaks
New: Fuel filter
O2 sensor
Temp. sending unit
MAP sensor
EGR sensor and valve
Thermostat
Timing was checked, injectors cleaned, and complete tune up. Runs better, especially now with winter temps. However, still looses power when warm. Compression shows minor blow-bye in one cylinder.
