Hey hows the Ford Truck people doing!!!
I got this itch about putting a 460/c-6 in my 1994 F-150 XL long bed. L&L has the kit (BIGBUCKS)but a couple of things that will hold this plan back is the left side exhaust pipe from the header. Is there enough room to route a pipe keeping the front gas tank? this there a pipe made for this installation? I really want to keep both gas tanks any help would be great. Oh what about the fuel pressure to the carb, could a fuel regulater be placed in the fuel system returning unused fuel to the tank? thanks in advaned
p.s. my truck has a six with a five speed.
On the Ford's, the exhaust shops in my area run both pipes down the passenger side of the truck then split them apart before they cross over the rear axle.
From the exhaust manifolds its similar to a Y-pipe set up but stays with two pipes instead of going into one.
Superdave, will this work with headers? sounds good just run them both out the right side. Now if I could only get this fuel pressure problem solved. Thanks
