RE:460 buildup
Later on in the future I want to buy an older ford truck say 73-79 F-series.I want to buy a 460 and a NP435 4spd to go in he truck.
I want ot build up the 460 for torque.I was thinking going with a 4bbl. carb.,headers,true dual exhaust,intake,flat top pistons,and a torque cam.
Here's my ?
Which cam should I buy for low end torque???
What I mean is what cam have folks bought and had the most sucess with without having all sorts of trouble.
And another ?
Will the 4spd handle the torque of the big block after the mods are done (cam,pistons,etc.)???
Alos when I'm looking for the motor and tranny which one's are the best of the years they were produced???
