Resistances look good, 2Ω & 8,220Ω

But the voltages should be the other way, 12V starting/cranking - 9v running... recheck when you can.
Any ignition switch work done?

For a quick check, if you have some small alligator clips & a few feet of # 18 wire, jump 12V from the battery to the + side of the coil while cranking.

Voltage Key switched On was 12.9 v ( engine off) measured btw coil positive and battery neg
When cranking (engine still off) voltage dropped jumping btw 9 and 10v
No ignition switch work done and I will try jump 12v from battery when I get back from my trip (sunday)

Hi Vinny,
I read somewhere the other day that Ford 302 sparks should be COPPER not platinum. Problem solved LOL.
I know this was not my original problem, which was fuel pressure but it took me a long time to figure this out because the guy who sold me the sparks recommended platinum sparks so I ruled the out as a possible cause.
Again thank you very much for your input, I learned a lot :-)

All the best Thorvar

Well, I’m glad to hear you are progressing, hopefully you have solved it.

What Part Number did you install?
What Part Number did you remove?
