Where is the best place to tie in a switched power supply buss bar?
Id like to mount a bus bar to feed relays and I am used to old chevys where there are extra 1/4" male pins on the fuse panel. any suggestions?
If you intend to pull a lot of amperage off of it, why not just get a heavy duty relay, something like this. You can then run a nice heavy-gauge wire from B+ to that, and from that to your buss bar. Add a fuse somewhere in the system, just in case.
The relay doesn't draw much, so you can just tap into the existing switched power somewhere.
i draw rite off the battery and go to circuit breakers into relays. then out to whatever i am powering.
switched power to the toggle switches to turn the breakers on and off comes off a fuse tap off a switched fuse in the fuse box.
