Steering

I have 07 f250 with 122k, just had all tierod ends, and also had a 1.5" leveling spring installed, and had a alignment done right after, my issue is the I have under steer to the left, which makes driving smoother cause of springs but, can't enjoy cause of the 1/8 turn of the steering wheel to the left before, it gets to the wheels, is there anything I should have done when I had the springs done ???

Did you add a leveling lift, improve the ride and now have significant steering slop after an alignment?

Yes I added a 1.5" leveling coil spring in front, and all new steering components, alignment and still have steering wheel slop, but no shaking coming from the wheels themselves, I can let go of the wheel at 70mph, and will drive straight..... I don't know

Perhaps after the springs settle a bit the steering will give a better feel. what springs did you install?

Rough country 1.5" leveling, it basically brought the truck back to almost original ride height, and they've been on for almost a month now

Have someone rock the steering back and forth while looking for any visible slop, they could have left something loose when doing the tierod ends.

Honestly it sounds a lot like a bad steering box, but check everything before throwing money at it.

With the mileage and if it's the original box, along with everything else you say you've replaced on the truck I'd have to agree it's most likely the steering gear, You could try tweaking the adjustment and see if it corrects/helps the issue but if so it's a short term fix at best and the box will need to be replaced.

....I replaced my gear on my 07 gasser with a Redhead...I like it but they are rather pricey, there are other options but I have not tried any others, other people will help you with those answers if it comes to that.
