Glow plug replacement on 7.3 VAN. Question.
Do I need to remove the file lines in order to replace the glow plugs?
What tool would be best to use for the glow plugs closer to the front of the truck. (the furthest to reach).
I have the parts coming tomorrow so I want to be prepared. I really would like to avoid messing with those fuel lines.

I did not have to remove any of the IP lines whwn i replaced mine. I used a 1/4" drive socket and a combinations of different extentions with a deep well socket. Different needle nosed plyers also helped. I did remove one of the IP line stabilizer clamps that wass in the way. Juat make sure you put it back on afterwards or else your lines can break.
The hardest part was getting the GP connectors off and on.

Like he says Just loosen the gp a turn then use a piece of 3/16 vac hose about 5 inches long, shove it on the gp and spin out. Install same way put hose on gp spin into head then snug with socket. Just be glad your not doing #3 injector.
