Power steering whine
Get a whine with it- flushed the power steering and was fine. Started again, added a little ATF and it went away. Have done this twice now. Can't find any leaks. Any suggestions? Pump going bad? 2002 w 195k

Maybe this will help. On my Dodge Caravan the power steering was making a lot of noise.
I assumed it was the pump but found help on the web.
Turned out it was the $17.00 reservoir. It had a plugged screen in it and would not allow enough fluid back to the pump. I have no idea if this could apply to your truck.
My old Dodge van is still quiet.
