I get this noise every now and then and it only seems to happen when I am either backing out of my drive way or when I am starting from a stop and making a turn. it comes from either the driver front or the passenger front depending on whether I am turning left or right.
for example when im backing out of my driveway and turning into the street and I give it some gas I hear what sounds like a groaning type noise like a stress type of noise. and same when I have the wheels turned and I am starting to turn at a stop sign and giving it gas.
to me it sounds like the front leaf spring bushings are bad causing the front axle to move under the stress of turning the wheels and moving like they are getting mashed causing the front axle to move a bit causing a groaning and a clicking noise.
what do yall think does it sound like leaf spring bushings? I know the sway bar end links are good well let me rephrase that they are about a year old and the shocks are original and same with ball joints and tie rod ends
