I am here, just swamped work and with a ton of family (my moms health) issues. Last week was crazy at work...But we did get to take the grandson to Vinita Ok for a PBR rodeo on sat night.

We got a phone call on Sunday and had to take my mom to the doc on Monday and then a different type of health care facility last night. She has been down here near us for a month at the new place and had to relocate last night due to developing health issues.

This week (work and other) is not any better so far, the 11th Sparta show is a maybe for us, depends on family issues.

Hang in there Rich - I completely understand how that goes with the parents. Mom failed a pre-op cardiac stress test this morning so, who knows, maybe I will make it Saturday after all.

Evening All!

Today was screw with Alan day.

I had no clean clothes this morning, so I had to sit and wait on the drier. By the time I got out, the parts store was open, so I ordered cut off wheels since I already cleared out everyone's stock in a ten mile radius of the shop. They said I would have them in an hour at around 0730. I finally called at 1430 and then they brought them out to me. I broke 3 drill bits. (one of which wasn't even mine) my die grinder quit, The axle housing fell on my foot while trying to move around it. I dropped $60 on bolts to put everything back together (correctly) and I didn't get half as much done as I wanted. Oh, and I should have my new axle shafts. FRIDAY AFTERNOON! So it looks like I'm just doing a display. There's no way I'm doing a crush in front of an audience on an untested truck. I changed way too much stuff around to perform in front of people without knowing what it's gonna do.

Morning folks....well Penny said since we took the RED Bronco last year, we need to take the tube Bronco this year. So pending any family emergencies we will be there.

Once I get the the new a/c belt on ol blue (it decided to eat the last one for lunch day before yesterday) I might get risky and drive it...even in its dirty condition.

Thanks for the words about my mother.

Alan hang in there.

Good morning All!

RC. I think this is gonna be a slow day. I have some errands to run and parts to pick up, so I'll be in and out. I'll try to get Ray's visor buffed out today as well. I know it's last minute, but at least that will be done.

Evening all. I've got some good news and i've got some bad news.

The bad news is that Mom's heart is worse than anyone expected and we will be taking her to Springfield for a heart catheter test Monday morning. She's already been told to be prepared to be admitted when she comes in. Needless to say, the back surgery is completely off the table. She'd rather have back problems and live instead.

The good news is that I will be there Saturday! I'll probably head up that way pretty early so I can browse through Buddy's looking at Neon wiper motors & wiring harnesses. I'm still having problems and have ruled out everything but the parking mechanism in the motor. Replacing the motor is fairly simple, if I can find the proper wiper motor. The connectors on replacement motors are completely different than the one that is on it. I'm hoping to find a harness with the right connectors to swap over.

Evening fellas. The only thing that I've done truck wise is leaned against the bed and stared at it today while waiting for the charcoal to burn down. Time and money haven't been in my favor of late. The good news is that here in a couple of weeks we'll be bidding on runs, so that should mean that I'll be back to a schedule again and might have some time to do a few things.
