CT June BS
Nice fish.
Went on a booze run to New Hampshire yesterday and it was windy. We had no problem but quite a few semi's were swaying with the wind.
Well my son is in from Arizona and hoping to see him soon.

Got my grandson coming over to finish the splitting and stacking of the wood pile this morning.
Lots of running around this weekend. The Transit went into the shop Friday morning. Enterprise tried to find us a rental with a hitch to use our wheelchair lift, and a couple hours before we picked it up they called and said they got one. Turns out it was a Ram 2500 CCLB. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to drive that around to compare with a Super Duty, but I turned it down. We already had mounted the lift on my F150, and a rental that's even higher off the ground would have been even more difficult to use. So they put me in a really nice Buick Enclave instead. I could get used to this thing!
Went to a yankees game yesterday with my dad, EB does an annual trip down there once a year, they had the 70th anniversary of the "old timers" game before the regular game. I'm resisting the urge to go for a road bike ride today, I recently joined the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money/awareness for childhood cancer. My goals are 300 miles for the month and $500 dollars. I started late and my elbow is delaying those goals a bit more, that's why I am having a hard time resisting going for a ride today. Well the grandson came over and split the rest of the small stuff and stacked about 3 cords Now all that's left is the big stuff and my middle son will help him there.
My youngest son coming over today. First time back since moving to Arizona.
Had to replenish the Vodka and Tequila, Two big bottles gone. I think they are drinking to much at the campground, but they will tell you there is never enough. lol
My grandson brought his Chevy truck over yesterday and I asked him what year it was and he snickered and said the frame is 1974. The tranny is 1985. The motor is 1991. The left door is 1986 and right door 1985. There are a few more years that I can't remember. Likes working with his father on the truck.
I find my son and grandson's ingenuity in the creation. My grandson just picked up a couple of fenders and two doors and is going to paint the truck dark blue with metal flake. Right now it's spray can gray. Only good thing about that is if you scratch it just pull out the spray can.

Looks like another great day out there.

Kyle are you still having trouble with the arm? Slow and steady.
Looks like another beautiful day out there.
Got to mow the lawn and go in for the second half of the stress test today. Only x-rays today. They are just checking things.
The weekend is almost upon us so for my Saturday dish I am thinking I'll make a "Ruben dip" with small chunks of rye bread to dip. And a dirty Martini for me.
Pick up the van today from the body shop. Looking forward to getting that back, it's a much better family hauler than my truck is.
Pretty impressed with Ford customer service. It went in the shop three weeks ago and was diagnosed with a failed rain sensor for the windshield wipers. Part has been backordered, and I finally got in touch with the regional customer support manager just yesterday. I explained my frustration with the van after all the little issues, and he called back five minutes later offering me a 100,000 mile PremiumCare ESP. Definitely wasn't expecting that.
