I got the front right leaf spring
Mount fixed today and the first foot or so of the frame POR15'd. That stuff really sticks to skin. Then put the water pump on and painted that with POR15 also. The 1995 power steering pump doesn't fit in my truck, it hits the steering box. I grinded as much as I felt comfortable and still won't fit. I may put spacers under the engine mounts and see if that will work. If not I gotta redesign a mount for either the 78 pump or 95 pump. That frame fix took hours. I have a new found appreciation for people who do this daily.
Definitely be careful with the por15. That stuff can be nasty. Works great if you do a really good job with prep.

That's a real nice fish, Andy! Where did you catch that monster?

That's a tall camper John, I'm sure you're paying attention to clearance signs.

You're aware NY State clearance signs aren't accurate, right?

What's your clearance, Clarence? Truckers navigate tricky New York bridges

Remembered that from my days as a truck driver. Drove under plenty of bridges marked 12' 10".

That's crazy Tom. I just read the article that you posted and it is nuts to drive in New York. Some times a foot higher and sometime "actual". In most cases with New York I am on interstates or thruways.

And yes the 5th wheel is high, that is why I going after low clearance bridge for GPS and I will be getting the Rand McNally Maps With the sealed maps. That you update every 2 or 3 years.

It is a big concern.

Morning

Just a little note: took the RV 760 to the coast and put in a destination for Lenny and Joe's. That would take me under a low bridge. Had it set as if I had the trailer and it made a route to avoid the bridge. From the time that I deviated from the route it kept trying to turn me away from the bridge until we got to the bridge and told me that we would hit . found that amazing.

Going to get my heart checked this morning. maybe get off some meds, hopefully.

Good deal with the GPS John. Make sure you don't become reliant on that though, always keep an eye out for the signs.

Good luck at the doctor.

Good morning guys!

Today I'm getting an estimate from a local body shop on the van. Couple days ago my wife misjudged a turn in the parking garage at the hospital.

I'm guessing it's somewhere over $1,000 in damage because of the dent in front of the wheel. Could be worse I suppose.

Morning.

Dogs are just loving this weather, getting very active with the cooler weather.

Tom it doesn't look that bad in the picture. And yes there may be some damage under the panel. Hope the wife isn't to upset. It seems everything cost a 1000 dollars every time something happens.

Since every day is Friday, maybe go camping today.
