Need Help 4wd Low

So, just so no one here says "did you search..." the answer is YES
I have spent 2 hours looking for this answer on this forum and several others. Either I am not looking for the right words and cannot find it or

Situation:
1999 (VERY EARLY Build 2/98, yes this is correct)
Super Duty Super Crew 8' XL 240,591 miles...not one lick of rust
6.8L v10 with 2v engine, recent 10 cyl tune up with coil packs and plugs
ZF5 manual
BRAND NEW Warn Manual Hubs and CAPPED the old vacuum lines
BRAND NEW Napa Transfer Case Servo Motor
Will not shift into 4WD Low

Analysis: So, when I diagnosed the bad servo motor, I hooked the OBDII up to the Snap-On diag computer and we checked the switch, all settings 2wd, 4wd High and 4wd Low all worked. When I installed the new servo motor, it would go into 4wd Low while at the shop. But shortly afterward, it would not go into 4WD Low anymore. Then last week I was stuck in the yard after a heavy rain and in the clay, and I switch to 4wd remembered to jump out and lock the hubs, and when I got back inside the truck was in LOW. I switched it too far the the right, instead of High I selected Low. But upon trying this again, I cannot get it back in low.

Now, I have had lots of people tell me that it must be a neutral safety switch. But there is one thing that I have kept seeing in the forums is the manual trucks don't have one? Which I find hard to believe. So Ford must call it something else? But one thing is forsure, the switch is telling the snap-on computer it is working and the servo motor has locked in a few times, so I know it works. I have checked all my fuses. I have no frayed wires and my vacuum is not part of the system any longer.

Thoughts anyone?

4WD LOW

With a manual transmission, I think you have to step on the brake pedal and the clutch pedal for it to go into 4w low.

As luck would have it, I went outside and tried your recommendation. I need brake and clutch in and the stick in neutral. It works but I can see how I might have forgot to do one before.

So the best pet is I finally got my hands on an owners manual. Guess what it says... LOL, could have saved me lots of grief. Glad I got this one figured out.
