Belt Tensioner
I need to replace the belt tensioner on my '93 f350 7.3 idi. On the NAPA website there are two options, an exposed spring version for $50 and an enclosed spring version for $100. Currently I have the enclosed spring version on my truck but if it doesn't make any difference I'd prefer to save the $50 and just get the exposed spring version. Does it matter, or is there any significant benefit to the enclosed spring?

My guess would be just less elements getting to the spring, but I always prefer to just put back whatever is stock, then I dont have to worry about it.
