Weird readings while battery is charging
I have an issue. when putting a multimeter on my battery while running the reading is unreadable. Off I can get a clear reading. It has a new alternator new battery and new voltage regulator, new ground cable, new terminals. The voltage reading in the dash has 13.3.to 13.4. Analog meters are useful, but a modern digital multimeter has NO problems reading these kinds of voltages. Make sure the battery inside the multimeter itself is fresh.
They give VERY wonky results when starting to get weak, that will cause some headscratching. Ask me how I know.
