2000 F350 Dash Removal
I'm not sure but I think it is just cliped and should pop out. That is what I found on My 99 when I was checking the lights.
WOW 270,000 thats great. Have you had to do anything to it other than change oil and put fuel in it?

2000 F350 Dash Removal
1. remove radio
2. loosen (2) 9/32 screws underneath the top part of the dash
where the radio was.
3. pull firmly on dash panel to remove.
4. remove ESOF/power point and any other electrical plugs from
dash panel.
you should have access to a/c panel fairly easy now.
