Mystery connector

You guys have any idea what this connector might go to?

Its on a 95 F150 4.9L E4OD 2WD.

From the looks of it, it has never been hooked up judging by grime in/on it.

It looks like your EGR vacuum control solenoid is right above it / attached to the connector.

The grey Connector?

That is for either the TAB/TAD solenoids. Most trucks have both.

Some later 4.9l trucks only had 1 of the 2 solenoids from the factory.

This was brought about a year or so ago.

Thanks, I searched and couldn't find a socket within reach of that short harness.

Im wondering the same thing, my 93 XLT with a 5.0 has the same random connector, I DO have TAD/TAB but they are both plugged in so im not sure but Im hoping someone knows.
