Anyone use JASPER transmissions? Need to replace the tranny and they want $2200 for a remanufactured one.

 

Sorry, can't say I have, apart from some mentions here and there, and don't even remember if they were positive. What are they offering you? Warranty? improvements? updates?.

 

Check around locally first (even the next town or two over). Around here a complete rebuild is only $1600 and that includes improvements/updates/mods.

 

Your Ford dealer may have a better or similar deal plus a good warranty

 

My dad got a jasper transmission in his 97 dodge ram. He loves it, 50,000 mile 3 year warranty, paid labor if something happens, towing, and rental car. Everyone else I know who has dealt with Jasper has had a good experience.
