Hi everyone. New to the forum. Long time ford owner. I recently ordered a new 2016 F-350, crew cab, long bed, 6.7, 4x4. I would like to put on a set of BFGoodrich all terrain KO2 LT315/70R17, ~35 x 12.5. It has the heavy duty front suspension package. Will I have any rubbing issues? Your input is appreciated. I did look on this site and elsewhere for the information. Couldn't find a 100% answer. Thanks in advance for the help.
Yes. I like the look of the truck more leveled which is why I ordered the heavier front springs. I think the diameter of the tires will be more than fine. Just concerned the width may cause them to rub the front control arms and/or the wheel well liner. Anyone running these tires on stock wheels? Any input is appreciated!!
It *may* rub on the radius arms at full lock. I ran 315/60/20 Toyo MTs on my truck at stock height and it rubbed on the radius arms. It didn't rub anywhere else. Same with my 37's now that the truck has a leveling kit.
Cheap fix would be a different set of rims with a better backspace.
It aint broke.
Seriously, I'm not that mad it it and I like the factory wheels. Others wouldn't be able to tolerate the little bit of rub I get, but it doesn't bother me.
Suzuki0702 the tires that come with it are LT245/75R17, BFG Rugged Terrain. New they are $720 +. I would probably sell them for $500. I live in Commerce Twp, MI. I don't think I want to mess with shipping. The truck will not be delivered until 6/17.
Thanks for all of the replies. I will be keeping the stock wheels. Like the look and I think aftermarket wheels struggle to match OEM quality, just my opinion. My brother in law is running Cooper S/T Maxx LT305/70R18 which according to their website those are 35.08 x 12.5. He has no issues. Heavy front suspension. I'm looking at LT315/70R17 BFG KO2 and they are 34.4 x 12.7. Or I could go with the 35x12.5R17 which is 34.5x12.5. There has to be someone out there that has experience with this exact tire size....right? Lol. Thanks again for the replies.
