Also, did you get your brake proportioning valve aftermarket, or are you using the original just cleaned up?

I'll be keeping an eye on whether you'll need to swap your steering column as well as I was told the 2wd is different... would love to see yours hook right up!

Great project and good luck!
I can definitely get some pictures for you. It might be this weekend though as the truck is at my parents shop. It essentially mounts the same way there were two pieces we didn't use to mount the tank. A side shield and a support bracket. I might eventually try to put a loop on the rear driveshaft just incase. I am going to put new u joints in it but you never know.

The proportioning valve is from BGY I am going to rear discs on the back and I have a Hydroboost unit from a mustang I am going to see if it fits. If it does I am going to go Hydroboost also.

I have heard the same thing I was just going to swap columns. Plus my 2wd was an auto but I could compare them for you when I swap mine.

Planning on doing brakes, getting ready for a cam swap and getting the fuel system lined out this weekend.

Hope these help some what. In the first pic you can see the bracket I have to cut and drill since we moved the tank back. Also the last picture shows how the transmission is sitting right now so the should give us more room between the yoke and the tank on the transfer case as. Since there's about an inch maybe a little less between the two currently. Also should gain some more room between the tank and transmission when the engine is put in since they are back all the way.

Not a lot of progress made these weekend but there was some sending units are in, fuel lines in, brake lines tightened down except for the master cylinder lines. Also done away the drum brakes and started the rear disc conversion.

Duratracs will be here Tuesday, went with 285/75/16.
