Why hide the switch?

So, this new to me Excursion came with a cool winch bumper complete with winch and integrated fog lights. Now, if you were a fog light switch, where would you be hiding?
Well, first off this is a 2001 Excursion and it did not come with the factory fog lights which means no pull out headlight switch.

Poor choice of words on my part. The 2001 Excursion that I bought did not include fog lights. I had an '04 F250 that had OE fog lights and the pull out switch. One of the first things I did after buying the '01 and seeing the lights in the bumper was to pull on the headlight switch. When it didn't pull, I looked closer and notices that it didn't have the markings either.
