Blower motor ... what is HIGH?

Okay guys ... and gals, what constitutes a high speed? My '90 F-250 Custom has all the speeds working but I fear the high speed is just not high enough ... but I wouldn't know what is supposed to be HIGH. On my 2007 Expedition, high is HIGH ... blows great and you have to turn it down to have a normal conversation. That's not the case with the F-250. Were these heater blowers not so "powered"? Are there high amp blower motors available? I haven't been able to compare mine to anything that is working, I'd guess that's normal.

Count the number of blower speed settings and compare with the speeds you have with the current blower motor. You may have not have all speeds operating properly.

Given the design of the stock heating/cooling system the blower motor and wheel should be adequate for comfort control. Trying to fit something "more powerful" would be difficult at best I'm sure, could compromise the existing efficiency.
