In repairing my ac I broke a 1/16 vac line going to this thing. The symptoms were I only had air flow to the defrost and my auto transmission was slipping so that I couldn't go over 30mph. The line is repaired and everything seams to be working correctly. So What Is it?

Don't know how many miles you drove with the tranny slipping, but I'd sure do a poor mans tranny fluid oil analysis, or maybe consider changing the fluid & filter to be safe, as a slipping tranny will over heat the fluid & clutch pack, not a good happening for longevity.
Thanks for the inputs. The tranny wasn't shifting and I only drove about a mile with it acting up. My tranny was serviced a couple months ago and hadn't acted up until I did the ac. It's all good for now.
