I found the module in the truck but cant get to the bolts easily anybody remove one of these?

No nav. It was for Software but couldn't do it since module appears to be dead

I have never tried to take one out, but if it's likely someone jacked up the module trying to hook up an aftermarket system or whatever, then I'm not surprised it wouldn't be covered under any warranty.

1turbo6, can you pull and check fuses 83 (20A) and fuse 29 (20A)? Please physically pull the fuses out and confirm continuity.
If the APIM is faulty, I'd love to have a look at it, but there are a lot of things about this one that create cause for concern that something else could also be contributing to the problem.

OK, let's focus on the 12V cigarette lighter not having power first since it is the simpler circuit. Since fuse 83 is good, let's see if it has +12V on that circuit. Can you check directly from the contacts on the back of the fuse to ground to see if there is +12V there?

I did get the cigarette outlet working the other day it was fuse 83 as u stated.

Well, I was hoping that we were chasing a bad ground. I'm assuming that the USB port still isn't powered though. Can you confirm that it still will not charge your phone?

Just double checked, it still does not charge phone. Is the usb powere by the Apim module?

Yes, it is. I you're able to get the APIM out, give us a call at 800-547-2049 and we will bring it in for an evaluation.

Got it out, also Called and left a message. Strange that it has a different p/n on each side. Is this 2 modules in one?
